100% of White Rose waste is diverted from landfill, and more than 70% of waste produced is recycled.
There are 2902 extra reasons to love the sunshine! Our solar panel system is one of the largest of its kind in the UK, and generates enough electricity to power 200 homes for a whole year.
We make good use of rainy days, too. Our electricity-free rainwater system re-uses every downpour to flush our toilets, meaning we get about 40,000 'free' flushes per year.
And finally, we have to mention our honeybees, who live in hives installed on our roof. They're a vital pollinator of local plants, including the food we eat.
