New Year ideas for eco-friendly shopping!
At White Rose we take recycling and sustainability seriously. 100% of our waste is diverted from landfill, where 70% of it is recycled. Our solar panel system is one of the largest of its kind in the UK, and we’ve even installed beehives on our roof to help pollinate local plants.
So, if you’ve made a new year’s resolution to lead a more environmentally friendly lifestyle, you’ve come to the right place! Here are a few pointers from our stores to give you a helping hand…
H&M
As an incentive to recycle more, at H&M you’ll receive a £5 voucher to use on a £25 spend when you bring in a supermarket-sized carrier bag of unwanted clothes. All textiles are welcome – any brand and any condition – even odd socks! Discover H&M’s top tips on sustainability.

LUSH
We’re big fans of the recycling scheme at Lush. Simply bring back bottles, black pots, black mascara or loose powder pots and you’ll receive a complimentary fresh face mask! See, it really does pay to be good!

M&S
Next time you’re popping in for your groceries, remember to drop off any used batteries at the recycling point. Plus, when you donate to Oxfam at the moment, you’ll receive a £5 voucher to spend on purchases of £35 or more at M&S!

Schuh
Kids grow out of their shoes so quickly, don’t they? Sometimes they’ve barely had a chance to wear them before they need a new pair! So, why not pass them back to Schuh? When you donate an old pair you’ll receive a £5 voucher to use on your next pair at Schuh Kids.

The Body Shop
Cutting back on single-use plastic is a must for any eco-conscious shopper, so next time you get to the end of your shampoo, make sure you return the bottle to The Body Shop. All Body Shop tubs and bottles will be recycled or repurposed into new items like park benches & playgrounds!
